With overnight snow and frost throughout the county, most of Kent’s non league fixtures were postponed, but believe it or not there was some action.

In the Trophy, Dartford’s game with Wealdstone at Princes Park succumbed to a frozen pitch, whilst Ebbsfleet United’s long journey north to face York City was wasted following a second pitch inspection at 12:30pm on Saturday.

Tonbridge Angels game with Boreham Wood at the Longmead Stadium had already fallen foul to the weather with Welling United’s fixture against Staines Town also following suit.

Bromley’s game against Havant & Waterlooville at Hayes Lane fell just after 9:30am with virtually every other fixture involving Kent’s clubs called off.

Just a handful of games survived the cold weather with two games in the Kent Invicta League and one in the Haart of Kent County League Premier Division lasting.
